Parquetry game board, circa 1840, now mounted on stand with storage beneath. Made of thick pieces of exotic woods including mahogany and satinwood squares with ebony, maple, rosewood and walnut. While the pine back suggests a New England origin, the style has a French influence. Measures 27” square by 30” high overall.
